I am sorry not to have acknowledged your letters of November 29th and December 1st sooner, but I am very much pressed just now.
As to the retention by the liquidators of the balance of over proceeds due on the two cargoes,
I find it impossible to for any conclusion as to the merits of the case upon the facts as stated in your letter. However as you know we shall be glad to give every possible consideration to any case which you may think fit to submit to us on the subject.
